Enter the park and receive a voucher to fill a sand bottle with colorful layers at our Lake Complex Gift Shop.
This sand, naturally colored by the breakdown of sandstone, showcases the area’s geological diversity, with shades influenced by various minerals,
predominantly compositions of iron oxide,
ranging from blue to green shades derived from different copper minerals.
Create a beautifully layered bottle as a unique reminder of your time at Timna.

To create intricate shapes, use a funnel to move the grains and create patterns inside the bottle. You will receive a special funnel from us at the Gift Shop.
When your bottle is filled, gently tap it to compact the layers, preserving the distinct colors. Top off the additional space with more sand, then seal your creation with local mud, acting as a natural cork.
