Welcome to Timna Park! Below are the photography approval procedures for the Timna Park Nature Reserve.

Payment Collection

An entrance fee must be paid per person in accordance with regulations and the law. Payment is to be made at the park’s ticket office for all participants. Photography outside the park’s operating hours is permitted only with prior arrangement and an additional fee.

Conduct Within the Park

  • The applicant agrees to follow all instructions provided by the park staff.
  • The applicant commits to maintaining the cleanliness and integrity of the site and declares responsibility for any damage caused to the park, whether intentional or unintentional, by any participant in the photo session.
  • The applicant pledges not to invade the privacy of park visitors in any way that violates the law and assumes full responsibility for adhering to all legal requirements.
  • Movement off designated paths and trails is prohibited, and photography is restricted to approved areas only.
  • No disruption of the grounds, soil disturbance, or use of methods that interfere with the site’s routine activities is allowed.
  • Roads and paths must remain unblocked, and visitor access must be maintained throughout the photo session.

Aerial Photography and Drone Use

  • The use of drones for photography or any other purpose is strictly prohibited unless coordinated in advance and authorized in writing by the park’s manager.

Bird Photography

  • Photography of nesting birds is not allowed.
  • Approaching nests or nesting areas in any way is strictly prohibited.

Wildlife Photography

  • It is forbidden to use methods that may harm animals, their behavior, or their habitat, such as capturing, luring with food, using artificial lighting, sounds, or other means.
  • Altering habitats for photography purposes without explicit permission is prohibited.
  • Photographing active mammal burrows or bat caves requires appropriate equipment and preparation (e.g., photography blinds, automatic cameras) to avoid disturbances.
  • Artificial white lighting may not be used for nighttime photography.
