Considerations Prior to Booking
- Payment Flexibility: Guests are afforded the option of up to three interest-free installments. Absent a specification regarding the installment number, the full amount will be charged in a single payment.
- Accommodation Check-in and Check-out: Standard check-in time is from 15:00, with check-out by 11:00. On Fridays, Holiday Eves, during Holiday periods, peak seasons and special events, check-in commences at 16:00, with check-out by 10:00.
- Arrival Recommendations: Arrival by 16:00-16:30 is advised. For arrivals beyond this time frame, ensure receipt of all requisite information, including the entrance gate code.
- Early Check-in/Late Check-out: Subject to availability, requests for early check-in or late check-out may incur additional fees. Please submit your request for further arrangement.
- Meal Pre-Booking: It is advised to pre-book breakfast meals during the accommodation booking process, at an extra charge of 49 NIS for adults. For toddlers under three, breakfast is not automatically included and should be specified in advance for an additional 20 NIS per meal, per night.
- Booking Confirmation: Upon completing the booking details, an automatic email confirmation will be dispatched. This confirmation process is automated; the actual credit card billing will adhere to the Park’s payment protocol. Upon arrival, guests are required to present their reservation number and verify identity.
- Unit Proximity Requests: Requests for adjacent accommodation units or nearby camping spots cannot be guaranteed beforehand but will be considered based on availability.
- Reception Assistance: Guests will be directed to their reserved unit by the accommodation attendant at the Lake Reception Desk.
- Fee Based Early Check-in/Late Check-out (Excluding Holidays and Events), Subject to Prior Coordination Based on Availability:
Late Check-In – Between 21:00-23:00 incurs an additional fee of 50 NIS per unit. On Thursdays only, this applies to hours between 22:00-24:00.
Late Check Out- Until 14:00 incurs an additional fee of 150 NIS per accommodation unit. Shizaf Khan – 300 NIS.
Late Departure – Until 17:00 incurs an additional fee of 250 NIS per accommodation unit. Shizaf Khan – 300 NIS. - Age Classifications:
An infant/toddler is considered up to 3 years of age, a child is considered from 3 to 14 years of age, and an adult is considered from age 14 onwards. - Holiday & Event Based Pricing: Pricing for Holidays and park events will be periodically updated in accordance with the relevant price list.
- Mattress Rental: Available at 15 NIS, per night, per mattress. Early notification is recommended.
- Kitchen Equipment: Guests are encouraged to bring necessary cooking equipment for outdoor meal preparation. Indoor cooking within units is strictly prohibited.
- Accommodation Parking Facilities: Complimentary guest parking is provided in close proximity to the accommodation sites. Vehicle entry into accommodation sites is strictly prohibited.
- Luggage Carts: Are available for transporting luggage from parking areas to accommodation sites.
- Designated Bonfire Area: A designated area for bonfires is provided, ensuring safety and adherence to Park regulations.
- Noise Control: To preserve the tranquil atmosphere, noise, music, or performances are regulated and require prior approval.
- Swimming Prohibitions: The lake is not designated for swimming activities.
- Smoking Policy: Smoking within accommodation units is strictly prohibited.
- Pet Policy: Pets are not permitted within accommodation units.
- Pest Advisory: Given its desert location, Timna Park may exhibit a presence of common desert pests. Guests are advised to prepare accordingly with repellents.
**Environmental Stewardship**: As a nature reserve, encounters with local wildlife are possible. Guests are reminded of their responsibility to respect the natural habitat.
Cancellation and Amendment Policy
Cancellations submitted up to 3 days prior the scheduled date of arrival shall not incur a cancellation fee. Cancellations submitted less than 3 days but more than 1 day prior the scheduled date of arrival shall incur a 25% cancellation fee. Cancellations notified on the date of arrival shall be subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
Booking cancellations shall adhere to the provisions of the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, and the regulations enacted thereunder, following the completion of a booking via the website’s booking system and upon receipt of confirmation from Timna Park regarding the terms of the booking.
- The policy for cancelling accommodation or tickets shall apply immediately upon the completion of a booking.
- For the purposes of this policy, business days do not include weekends or public holidays.
- Requests for modifications to or partial cancellations of a booking will be subject to fees in accordance with the cancellation and amendment policy.
- The deferment of a booking date will result in a full charge, without the possibility of a refund.
- Requests for cancellation, modification, or postponement by the customer must be conveyed via a cancellation notice through the website’s contact form or by email to [email protected]. Such requests should include identification details, booking number, full name, contact number, and the reason for the cancellation or modification.
- The effective date of cancellation will be deemed the date on which the cancellation notice is received by the park’s booking department.
It is hereby declared that any charges due to cancellation will be processed by Timna Park through the credit card details furnished by the customer, who provides irrevocable consent to such charges, subject to these terms.
A monetary refund for a cancelled booking shall be subject to the provisions of Amendment 52 of the Consumer Protection Law,5777- 2017.
- Accommodation Booking Cancellation
Please be advised, cancellation conditions vary between the cancellation of an accommodation unit booking and a camping booking, as well as between regular periods and holidays/special events.
Cancellation Conditions for Accommodation Units (Guest Rooms/Caravans/”Shizaf Khan”/”Moringa Tents”):
During Regular Season:
Cancellations submitted from the date of booking up to 4 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays) prior to the scheduled date of arrival shall incur a fee of 5% of the total booking value or 100 ILS per unit, whichever is less.
Except for “Shizaf Khan” which will be subject to a cancellation policy of 5% of the total booking value.
Cancellations submitted less than 4 business days and up to 2 days prior to the scheduled date of arrival shall incur a fee of 30% of the total booking value.
Cancellations submitted less than 2 days before the date of arrival or in case of no-show within 24 hours of the date of arrival shall incur a fee of the full booking amount (including meals).
For Holidays/Special Events:
Cancellations submitted from the date of booking up to 14 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays) prior to the scheduled date of arrival shall incur a fee of 5% of the total booking value or 100 ILS per unit, whichever is less.
Except for “Shizaf Khan,” which will be subject to a cancellation policy of 5% of the total booking value.
Cancellations submitted less than 14 business days and up to 7 days prior to the scheduled date of arrival shall incur a fee of 25% of the total booking value.
Cancellations submitted less than 7 business days and up to 2 days prior to the scheduled date of arrival shall incur a fee of 50% of the total booking value.
Cancellations submitted less than 2 business days prior to the date of arrival or in case of no-show within 24 hours of the scheduled arrival shall incur a fee of the full booking amount (including meals).
Cancellation Conditions for Camping Reservations-Pitching Personal Tents (Overnight Parking)/Private Caravan Pitching Stations:
During Regular Season:
Cancellations submitted from the date of booking up to 3 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays) prior to the scheduled date of arrival shall not incur a cancellation fee.
Cancellations submitted less than 3 business days and up to one day prior to the scheduled date of arrival shall incur a fee of 5% of the total booking value or 100 ILS per pitch, whichever is less.
Cancellations notified on the date of arrival or in case of no-show shall incur a fee of the full booking amount (accommodation price including meals).
For Holidays/Special Events:
Cancellations submitted from the date of booking up to 7 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays) prior to the scheduled date of arrival shall not incur a cancellation fee.
Cancellations submitted less than 7 business days and up to 3 days prior to the scheduled date of arrival shall incur a fee of 5% of the total booking value or 100 ILS per pitch, whichever is lower.
Cancellations submitted less than 3 business days and up to 1 day prior to the scheduled date of arrival shall incur a charge of 25% of the total booking value.
Cancellations notified on the date of arrival or in case of no-show shall incur a fee of the full booking amount (accommodation price including meals).
- Ticket Cancellation Policy
Cancellation terms for Guided Tour Tickets:
Cancellations of guided tour ticket bookings submitted up to 1 business day prior to the scheduled activity date, (excluding weekends and public holidays) shall incur a fee of 5% of the total booking value.
Cancellations notified on the date of the activity or in cases of no-show or late arrival shall incur a fee equivalent to 100% of the total booking value.
For tickets to special events or performances, cancellations submitted up to 7 business days prior to the event shall incur a 50% cancellation fee.
Cancellations submitted 7 days prior to the scheduled date of the event, no-show, or late arrival to the activity shall incur charges amounting to the full booking value (100%).
Private Tours/Private Activity Cancellation Fees:
Cancellations submitted up to 1 week prior to the scheduled date of activity shall incur a 15% cancellation fee of the total booking value.
Cancellations submitted 7 -3 days prior to the date of activity, excluding business days, shall incur a 50% cancellation fee will be applied.
Cancellations submitted less than 3 days prior to the date of activity shall incur charges amounting to the full booking value (100%).
Payment Methods:
- Accommodation Bookings: For bookings during regular season, full payment is required 7 days prior to the scheduled date of arrival. During peak periods, full payment must be made 14 days prior to the scheduled date of arrival.
- Guided Tour Ticket Bookings: Payment must be completed up to 1 day prior to the scheduled tour date.
- Tickets for Shows/Special Events: Payment must be completed up to up to 3 days prior to the scheduled event date.
- Tax Invoice/Receipt Issuance: A tax invoice/receipt shall be sent to the email address provided at the time of booking.
- Peak Period Designation: Holidays and special events are considered peak periods and shall be determined at the sole discretion of Timna Park Management.
- Exceptions: In specific instances, such as bookings for 3 or more accommodation units or for 20 or more tickets, a deposit shall be required, and an alternative cancellation policy may be applied.
- Customer Charges: It is hereby clarified that he customer hereby consents irrevocably to charges made by the Company and/ or its representative via the credit card details furnished by the customer to the Company, in accordance with these terms.
Booking Placement Process:
Bookings shall be placed by entering purchase details
- Method: Bookings are to be made via credit card.
- Security: Credit card details are initially for securing the booking only and actual charge shall be initiated closer to the date of arrival/activity, in accordance with the site’s payment policy.
*This provision shall not apply to services specified (such as entry to the site, accommodations, tickets for events, guided tours, among others) acquired during peak seasons or on any date upon which the Company revises booking conditions.
- 3. Booking Confirmation: Upon entering credit card details, the purchaser shall receive an automatic email confirmation. The purchaser is required to present the booking number and appropriate identification details upon arrival at Timna Park. A printed confirmation is not necessary.
* Confirmation of orders through this process is automated, and the subsequent credit card charge will be conducted in alignment with the Park’s established payment guidelines (refer to “Payment Method” for details). It is incumbent upon the purchaser to specify within the “Order Comments” section whether they opt for the charge to their credit card to be structured in installments, (up to three interest-free payments). Absent a specific request for installment payment, the charge will be levied in one single payment.
- Rights Reserved: The Company hereby reserves the right to cancel or modify the terms of bookings and all published prices at any time.
- Cancellation/Modification Discretion: Without prejudice to the afore-stated, the Company may not approve and/or may unilaterally cancel any transaction recorded in the system, even if an automatic approval notice was issued, subject to one or more of the following conditions:
- Notification shall be provided to the customer at least fourteen (14) days prior to the scheduled date of arrival if an event is to occur at the Park subsequent to the customer’s transaction and subsequent to receipt of transaction authorization by the customer.
- A discrepancy in the transaction price does not constitute an obligation upon the company, which retains the right to either refund the amount of the transaction or engage with the customer to facilitate correct order placement.
- Errors in transaction details attributable to human error are recognized as grounds for transaction adjustment or correction.
- The company reserves the right to rectify any inaccuracies or errors in orders at its sole discretion for any reason deemed necessary.
In instances of cancellation mentioned herein, the stipulated cancellation fees outlined within these terms will not be enforced.
- Pricing and Payment Information: Prices are listed in New Israeli Shekels without VAT per the VAT Law applicable in Eilat. Should any changes in the VAT Law occur, VAT will be added accordingly (on the Hebrew page of this website)
- International Transactions: All prices on the site are listed in dollars without VAT, and payment will be calculated using the representative rate set by the Bank of Israel.
- Currency Conversion Fees: During the processing of charges, the issuing credit card company may impose fees related to currency conversion for transactions executed in foreign currencies. Therefore, the initially displayed transaction amount is provisional and subject to adjustments based on the applicable conversion rates and fees.
- Personalized Booking: Bookings on the site are personal and limited to a maximum of two orders per individual.
- The prices displayed on the website are denominated in New Israeli Shekels (NIS) and are specifically tailored for Israeli nationals. Bookings made by foreign nationals, who must furnish a passport with a current address outside of Israel, will be subject to pricing in United States Dollars (USD) or Euros (EUR), in alignment with the prevailing rate schedule for the period of the booking.
Customer Booking Modifications
- Any booking modification shall be made via email and/or via communication with the Park’s reservation department, subject to the provisions of the Consumer Protection Law and the regulations enacted under its authority. It is the customer’s responsibility to verify the acknowledgement of any modification or cancellation request.
- Requests to modify an existing booking made via the website must be submitted exclusively via email to [email protected], or by contacting + 972-08-6316756. The requester must include identification details. Such communications must include pertinent identification details for processing.
- In the event that a customer modifies a booking in the manner described herein, their order as outlined above, the effective date of modification shall be the date on which such request is confirmed by the Park’s reservation department.
- No claims regarding any changes shall be accepted unless they are documented in writing and approved by Timna Park’s reservation department.
- The individual requesting such modification shall be liable for any associated costs, as communicated by the Park’s reservation department, prior to executing the requested modification.
- In any event in which the customer identifies an offer at a rate inferior to that of an order executed through the website and solicits the cancellation and modification of their order, predicated on their status as a club/organization/local resident member, the order subject to cancellation will attract a cancellation fee amounting to 5% of the order’s total value or 100 ILS, whichever is lesser. This condition persists notwithstanding the customer’s desire to substitute it with an alternative order.
